City has received a check from the Weiss, Serota law firm trust account in the amount of $22,450.01. This represents the conclusion of eminent domain litigation on several land parcels taken from the City by the airport expansion and acceptance of a settlement in the amount of $81,911.49. Litigation, witness costs and attorney fees have been deducted by Weiss, Serotal from this settlement in the amount of $59,461.48. Acceptance of this net payment amount to the City and ratification and appropriation of funds paying these litigation and legal costs is sought from the City Commission. |
